First Southwest Community Fund is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) by the U.S. Department of the Treasury. Its mission is to partner with rural entrepreneurs to build resilient, inclusive, and prosperous local economies. The fund achieves this by providing inclusive and equitable access to capital, primarily through business loans, and offering free business coaching to support startups and existing small businesses that may not qualify for traditional financing.
