Founded in 1976, the Federación de Aseguradores Colombianos (Fasecolda) is the guild that represents insurance and reinsurance companies operating in Colombia. Its mission is to promote the development and strengthening of the country's insurance industry, foster a culture of risk management and insurance within society, and act as a representative voice for the sector before the government and the public. Fasecolda conducts technical studies, compiles industry statistics, and leads educational and social responsibility initiatives related to insurance.
