Founded in 1952 to serve the employees of the Atlanta General Depot, EXCEL Federal Credit Union has since grown to serve over 100 area companies and organizations. As a not-for-profit financial institution, its mission is to provide members with a sound, convenient, and competitive source of financial services, including checking and savings accounts, loans, mortgages, and investment services. Unlike a traditional bank, its members are its owners, and earnings are returned to them in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
