Charles Stanley Direct was the direct-to-consumer online investment service of Charles Stanley, one of the UK's oldest wealth management firms, founded in 1792. Launched to cater to the growing demand for "do-it-yourself" investing, the platform provided individuals with access to a wide range of investments, including shares, funds, investment trusts, and ETFs, primarily through tax-efficient accounts like ISAs and SIPPs. In 2022, the parent company, Charles Stanley Group PLC, was acquired by the US financial services firm Raymond James. Consequently, the Charles Stanley Direct platform and brand have been fully integrated and rebranded into the Raymond James offering in the UK.
