Calpian Commerce was the United States-based credit and debit card processing subsidiary of Calpian, Inc. (OTC: CLPI), a global B2B mobile payments company. The company provided electronic payment solutions, enabling merchants to accept various forms of payment, including credit cards, debit cards, and checks. Its parent company, Calpian, Inc., also had significant operations in India focused on mobile payment processing. Calpian, Inc. ceased public reporting in 2016 and was later charged with fraud by the SEC, leading to the dissolution of the company and its subsidiaries.
