The California Statewide Communities Development Authority (CSCDA) was created in 1988 by its sponsors, the League of California Cities and the California State Association of Counties, to enable local governments and private entities to finance a broad range of projects. As a conduit issuer of tax-exempt and taxable bonds, CSCDA helps fund affordable housing, hospitals, schools, community facilities, and other infrastructure projects.
