Originally founded as Axia Payments, the company specialized in providing integrated payment technology and merchant services for businesses, with a strong focus on industries like healthcare, government, and ARM (accounts receivable management). They offered solutions for accepting credit/debit card payments, ACH processing, and other electronic transactions through secure, PCI-compliant platforms. In April 2021, Axia Technologies, the parent company of Axia Payments, was acquired by Ontario Systems. In early 2022, Ontario Systems rebranded itself as Finvi, consolidating its acquired brands and services into a unified offering focused on workflow automation and payment solutions for revenue cycle management.
