Founded in 1998, Autonet Insurance Group grew to become one of the UK's largest independent insurance brokers, specializing in van, car, and business insurance. Headquartered in Stoke-on-Trent, the company was known for its significant call centre operations and early adoption of technology in the insurance sector. In 2017, Autonet was acquired by The Ardonagh Group. As part of a major group restructuring, Autonet's personal lines business was subsequently merged with Carole Nash and Swinton, and now operates under the Swinton brand.
