Established by law in 1964, Arbejdsmarkedets Tillægspension (ATP) is a self-governing institution responsible for managing the mandatory pension savings for the majority of the Danish population. Its mission is to ensure basic financial security for pensioners and contribute to an efficient welfare state. In addition to its core pension activities, the ATP Group also administers key welfare and social security schemes on behalf of the Danish state, local authorities, and social partners. ATP is renowned for its investment management, aiming to deliver stable, long-term returns on the DKK billions it manages for its 5.6 million members.
