Founded in 1962, Asociacion Popular de Ahorros y Prestamos (APAP) was the first mutualist institution in the Dominican Republic. Its mission is to promote savings to finance the purchase, construction, and improvement of family homes. Over the decades, it has evolved into a major financial entity offering a wide range of personal and business banking services, including savings accounts, personal and mortgage loans, credit cards, and investment products, while maintaining its focus on social responsibility and financial well-being for its members and clients.
