Andra AP-fonden (AP2), established in 2001 as part of a reform of the Swedish public pension system, is a major institutional investment manager. Its legal mandate is to manage its portion of the pension system's buffer capital to generate high long-term returns at a low level of risk, thereby contributing to the stability and security of Sweden's national pensions.
