Founded in 2016 on the initiative of Zitouna Bank, Zitouna Tamkeen is the first Islamic microfinance institution in Tunisia. Its mission is to contribute to the economic and social development of the country by fighting unemployment and poverty. The company provides Sharia-compliant financing solutions to individuals and small businesses who are often excluded from the traditional banking system, enabling them to launch or develop their own income-generating projects.
