Wheeler Electric Membership Corporation (EMC) is a not-for-profit, member-owned electric cooperative chartered in 1937. It provides electric service to over 40,000 member-owners across Morgan, Lawrence, and parts of Cullman, Marshall, and Winston counties in North Alabama. As a cooperative, Wheeler EMC is governed by a board of directors elected by its members and is committed to delivering safe, reliable, and affordable electricity while investing in the local communities it serves.
