Founded in 1951 as the Grand Rapids Teachers Credit Union, West Michigan Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and operated by its members. Its mission is to create a financially healthy and vibrant community by offering a full range of banking products, including savings and checking accounts, loans (auto, mortgage, personal), credit cards, and business services. As a cooperative, it returns profits to its members in the form of lower loan rates, higher savings rates, and fewer fees.
