STORE Capital Corporation was an internally managed net-lease real estate investment trust (REIT) that focused on acquiring, investing in, and managing a diversified portfolio of Single Tenant Operational Real Estate properties across the United States. Founded in 2011 by Christopher Volk, the company provided real estate financing solutions to middle-market and larger companies, allowing them to lease back their properties and invest the capital back into their own businesses. In February 2023, STORE Capital was taken private in an all-cash transaction valued at approximately $15 billion by GIC, a global institutional investor, and Oak Street, a division of Blue Owl.
