Established in 1993 and registered under the Societies Registration Act of 1860, the Soon Valley Development Program (SVDP) is a non-profit, non-governmental, and non-political organization. Its mission is to empower marginalized communities, particularly women and children, in the Soon Valley region of Punjab, Pakistan. SVDP works to alleviate poverty and promote sustainable development through a multi-faceted approach that includes programs in micro-credit, education, health, community infrastructure, and environmental conservation.
