Sicoob, the Sistema de Cooperativas de Crédito do Brasil, is one of the largest financial cooperative systems in Brazil. Founded in 1997, it operates on a cooperative model where the customers are also the owners (members) of the financial institution. The system is composed of numerous individual credit cooperatives, central cooperatives, and the Sicoob Confederation. Its mission is to provide fair and accessible financial solutions, including checking accounts, credit, investments, insurance, and payment methods, contributing to the economic and social development of its members and the communities it serves.
