Ruschlikon is not a traditional commercial company but a global, non-profit, member-driven industry initiative. Its primary mission is to digitize the (re)insurance market by promoting the adoption of ACORD (Association for Cooperative Operations Research and Development) Data Standards. The community focuses on automating back-office processes, such as technical accounting, claims, and settlement, to improve efficiency, reduce operational costs, and enhance data quality across the industry. The initiative was named after the Swiss town of Rüschlikon, where the foundational meetings took place.
