The company utilized a digital-first approach with a proprietary credit-scoring algorithm to disburse loans quickly, often within a few hours. In 2018, Rupeelend was acquired by MWYN Tech, the parent company of the credit line app MoneyTap. Following the acquisition, the Rupeelend brand and its standalone operations were phased out and integrated into the acquirer's ecosystem.
