Originally chartered in October 1958 to serve civil service employees in Fort Smith, River Town Federal Credit Union has since expanded to serve a wider community. As a not-for-profit financial cooperative, it is owned and operated by its members. The credit union's mission is to provide affordable financial services, including savings and checking accounts, various types of loans (auto, personal, mortgage), and digital banking, to individuals who live, work, worship, or attend school in its designated service area.
