Rewire was a fintech company that developed and operated an international financial services platform for migrant workers. Its mission was to provide accessible, affordable, and secure cross-border banking and remittance solutions. The platform offered services such as international money transfers, an IBAN account, a debit card, and local payment options, tailored to the needs of migrants living and working in Europe and the UK. Founded in 2015, the company grew significantly before being acquired by global remittance company Remitly in January 2023. Following the acquisition, Rewire's services and customers are being integrated into the Remitly platform.
