Founded in 1999 as a support corporation of UnidosUS (formerly the National Council of La Raza), the Raza Development Fund (RDF) is a non-profit social enterprise and a U.S. Treasury-certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). RDF's mission is to break the cycle of poverty in low-income communities by providing access to capital and technical assistance for projects in areas such as education, affordable housing, healthcare, and community facilities. By raising capital from financial institutions, corporations, foundations, and government sources, RDF provides tailored loans and investments to organizations serving Latino and other underserved populations across the country.
