RAAS Microfinance Institution was established in 2002 as a project under an NGO and was later licensed by the National Bank of Ethiopia in 2013 to operate as a share company. The institution's mission is to empower the rural and urban poor, with a particular focus on women, by providing inclusive and sustainable financial services such as loans, savings, and micro-insurance. RAAS aims to improve livelihoods, foster entrepreneurship, and contribute to the economic development of the communities it serves across various regions of Ethiopia.
