PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero), also known as PT SMI, was established on February 26, 2009, as a State-Owned Enterprise (SOE) wholly owned by the Government of Indonesia through the Ministry of Finance. Its primary mandate is to act as a catalyst in accelerating infrastructure development in Indonesia. PT SMI's business is built upon three main pillars: Financing and Investment, which involves providing funding for infrastructure projects; Advisory Services, offering expert guidance to various stakeholders in the infrastructure sector; and Project Development, assisting in the preparation of viable infrastructure projects. The company plays a crucial role in public-private partnership (PPP) schemes and supports various national strategic projects.
