In December 2020, GoDaddy announced it would acquire Poynt for approximately $320 million. The acquisition was completed in early 2021, and Poynt's technology now forms the core of GoDaddy's "GoDaddy Payments" service, powering its point-of-sale hardware and integrated commerce solutions for small and medium-sized businesses.
