Founded in 1995, Piedmont Community Health Plan is a physician-sponsored, non-profit Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) and is part of the Centra health system. Its mission is to partner with physicians and members to provide access to high-quality, comprehensive, and cost-effective healthcare. The organization offers a variety of health plans, including individual & family plans, group plans, and Medicare Advantage plans, focusing on serving the communities of Central and Southside Virginia.
