Northstar Financial Services (Bermuda) Ltd. was an insurance company registered in Bermuda that sold fixed- and variable-annuity products and investment contracts to a global client base, particularly in Latin America, Asia, and to US expatriates. The company was owned by U.S. citizen Greg Lindberg. In 2020, following Lindberg's conviction for bribery and wire fraud and the discovery of severe insolvency, the company was forced into court-ordered liquidation by the Bermuda Monetary Authority, leaving thousands of international investors with potentially massive losses.
