Originally chartered in 1958 to serve the employees of Welch Foods, Inc. in North East, Pennsylvania, North East Welch Federal Credit Union has since expanded to a community-chartered institution. As a member-owned, not-for-profit financial cooperative, its mission is to provide its members with quality financial products and services, including savings and checking accounts, loans, and other banking solutions, while maintaining financial stability and promoting the financial well-being of its community.
