Established on April 26, 1956, under the Nepal Rastra Bank Act, 1955, Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) is the central monetary, regulatory, and supervisory authority of Nepal. Its core mission is to maintain macroeconomic stability by formulating and implementing monetary, foreign exchange, and financial sector policies.
