Incorporated on 30th September 1994, the National Minorities Development And Finance Corporation (NMDFC) is a National Level Apex Body operating under the aegis of the Ministry of Minority Affairs, Government of India. Its primary mission is the socio-economic and educational empowerment of the backward sections amongst the notified minority communities (Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains). NMDFC achieves this by providing concessional financial assistance through State Channelizing Agencies (SCAs) for self-employment, income generation ventures, and educational pursuits.
