Originally founded in Luxembourg in 1995, Multifonds established itself as a premier provider of technology solutions for fund administration. The company developed two core products, Multifonds Global Accounting and Multifonds Global Investor, which together offer a single, integrated platform for fund and portfolio accounting, net asset value (NAV) calculation, and investor servicing. In 2015, Multifonds was acquired by the Swiss banking software company Temenos for €235 million. It is now fully integrated into Temenos's product suite as "Temenos Multifonds," serving as a key component of their offerings for asset managers, third-party administrators, insurance companies, and pension funds worldwide.
