Founded in 1983, Minnesota Business Finance Corporation (MBFC) is a non-profit organization designated by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) as a Certified Development Company (CDC). Its primary mission is to facilitate economic development and job creation throughout Minnesota by providing small and medium-sized businesses with access to long-term, fixed-rate financing for major fixed assets, such as real estate and equipment. MBFC partners with local lenders, banks, and credit unions to deliver the SBA 504 Loan Program, which helps business owners conserve working capital and secure favorable financing terms.
