Founded in 1997 and established as a public limited company (Société Anonyme) in 2012, FADIMA (Financière d’Appui au Développement Intégré par la Micro-entreprise en Afrique) is a key player in the microfinance sector of Burkina Faso. Its mission is to combat poverty by offering accessible financial products, such as credit and savings, primarily to micro-entrepreneurs, small-scale producers, and especially women. The institution focuses on empowering economically vulnerable individuals and groups to help them develop their income-generating activities and improve their living conditions.
