Founded in 2007, Maksuturva Group Oy was a Finnish financial technology company specializing in secure and comprehensive payment services for online stores. The company acted as a payment service provider (PSP), enabling merchants to accept a wide range of payment methods, including online banking, credit/debit cards, and invoicing. In 2020, Maksuturva was acquired by the Swedish financial group Svea Ekonomi and was subsequently rebranded to Svea Payments Oy.
