Founded in 2016 in Copenhagen, Denmark, Hufsy was a neobank focused on simplifying financial administration for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and freelancers. The company offered a business account with a dedicated IBAN, payment cards, and an administration platform that integrated with accounting software. Hufsy's mission was to create a single, user-friendly financial hub for entrepreneurs. In June 2019, Hufsy was acquired by the Ageras Group, an online marketplace for accounting, bookkeeping, and legal services. Following the acquisition, the Hufsy brand and its services were integrated into Ageras's offerings, and the Hufsy company was officially closed.
