The KDPW Group (Grupa Kapitałowa KDPW) consists of the Central Securities Depository of Poland (KDPW S.A.) and its clearinghouse subsidiary, KDPW_CCP S.A. Established in 1994, KDPW is a key institution responsible for the operation and development of the system of registration and settlement of securities in Poland. Its mission is to ensure the safe and efficient functioning of post-trade services for the domestic financial market, including the settlement of transactions, the operation of a central securities depository, and providing services to issuers. KDPW_CCP acts as a central counterparty (CCP), clearing transactions and guaranteeing their settlement to mitigate counterparty risk in the market.
