Founded in 1940 as the San Antonio City Employees Federal Credit Union, Generations Federal Credit Union (GFCU) is a community-based financial cooperative. As a not-for-profit institution, its mission is to serve as a trusted financial partner for its members by providing competitive financial products and services, from checking and savings accounts to auto loans, mortgages, and investment services. GFCU is federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and focuses on serving individuals and businesses within Bexar County and several surrounding counties in Texas.
