Founded in 1953, Family Security Credit Union is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned and operated by its members. Originally established to serve the employees of the Wolverine Tube Division in Decatur, Alabama, it has since grown to serve over 45,000 members across several Alabama counties. The credit union's mission is to provide quality, comprehensive financial services, including savings and checking accounts, various loan products (auto, mortgage, personal), credit cards, and digital banking solutions, all while operating for the financial benefit of its member-owners rather than for profit.
