Established in 1950, the Eskom Pension and Provident Fund (EPPF) is one of South Africa’s largest pension funds, managing assets on behalf of its members, who are current and former employees of Eskom and its subsidiaries. As a defined benefit fund, the EPPF is legally obligated to provide specified pension and other benefits to its members upon retirement or other life events. Its mission is to be a trusted retirement fund that responsibly manages its assets to ensure the long-term financial security of its members, pensioners, and their beneficiaries.
