Down To Earth Microfinance, Inc. (DTE) is a social enterprise dedicated to improving the lives of Filipino communities by providing accessible financial services to low-income households. Originally established in 2012 by two Dutch founders as a non-profit organization, DTE transitioned into a for-profit microfinance institution in 2018 with approval from the Philippines Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The company's mission is to empower its clients, primarily micro-entrepreneurs, through responsible lending to help them grow their businesses and achieve financial stability.
