The Instituto de Estudos de Protesto de Títulos do Brasil – Seção São Paulo (IEPTB-SP) is a non-profit civil association that brings together all the Protest Notary Offices in the state of São Paulo. Its primary mission is to provide technological infrastructure and centralized services to facilitate the process of protesting debt instruments (such as checks, promissory notes, and invoices) for creditors and to allow individuals and companies to consult for protested debts and regularize their situation. It acts as a central hub for debt recovery information and services under the supervision of the judicial authorities of São Paulo.
