Bitdharma, operated by Dharma Labs, Inc., was a platform designed to simplify access to decentralized finance (DeFi). Its core product was the Dharma Smart Wallet, a user-friendly, non-custodial mobile wallet that allowed users to connect their US bank accounts to buy, sell, and exchange thousands of cryptocurrencies on the Polygon network with low fees. The company's mission was to make crypto and DeFi accessible to the mainstream user. In February 2022, Dharma Labs was acquired by the NFT marketplace OpenSea, and the Bitdharma/Dharma app and services were officially shut down on April 17, 2022.
