Established in 1968, Bantry Credit Union is a local, not-for-profit financial institution that is owned and controlled by its members. Its mission is to promote the financial well-being of its members by providing a safe place to save and access to loans at reasonable rates. Unlike commercial banks, any surplus generated is returned to the members through dividends, rebates on interest, or investment in improved services and community projects.
