Agricultural Bank of China
Information by Research Trustfinance
Originally established in 1951, the Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) is one of the "Big Four" banks in China. Headquartered in Beijing, it has an extensive network of branches domestically and overseas. The bank's mission has historically been focused on serving "Sannong" – agriculture, rural areas, and farmers – but has since evolved into a major state-owned joint-stock commercial bank offering a wide range of financial services including corporate and retail banking, investment banking, fund management, and financial leasing to a diverse customer base. ABC is listed on both the Shanghai Stock Exchange and the Hong Kong Stock Exchange.
