Established in 2007 in Abu Dhabi, the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development is a government-backed institution with a mission to create a new generation of Emirati entrepreneurs. The organization, which was previously known as the Zayed Fund for Entrepreneurship and Innovation, facilitates the growth of the SME sector by providing a range of services including specialized financing, business counseling, technical support, and training. It aims to instill a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation within the UAE community. Over the years, the Fund has expanded its successful model globally, establishing partnerships to support entrepreneurship in over 22 countries.
