The company's mission was to build a "network of networks," creating a secure and interoperable ecosystem that connects financial institutions, retailers, and consumers for real-time digital transactions. Their core platform, Yepex, enabled banks and other financial players to offer a wide range of mobile services, including P2P transfers, tokenization, and QR code payments, often under a white-label model. In October 2020, YellowPepper was acquired by Visa, and its technology and regional expertise have since been integrated into Visa's Cybersource platform to accelerate the adoption of digital payments throughout the region.
