Founded in 1933, Wolverine Bank operated as a community-focused financial institution headquartered in Midland, Michigan. It provided personal and business banking services, including checking and savings accounts, mortgage lending, and commercial loans, primarily serving the Great Lakes Bay Region. In 2017, Wolverine Bancorp, Inc., the holding company for Wolverine Bank, was acquired by Huntington Bancshares Incorporated. All Wolverine Bank branches were subsequently converted and rebranded as Huntington Bank locations, and the Wolverine Bank entity ceased to operate under its original name.
