WMA - the Wealth Management Association
Information by Research TrustFinance
The Wealth Management Association (WMA) was a UK-based trade body that represented the interests of investment management firms, stockbrokers, and financial advisers. Its mission was to advocate for its member firms, promote high standards of professionalism and integrity, and engage with regulators and government bodies to shape policy for the benefit of the industry and its clients. In 2017, WMA merged with the Association of Professional Financial Advisers (APFA) to create a new, more powerful trade association called PIMFA (Personal Investment Management & Financial Advice Association), which continues and expands upon the original mission of both organizations.
