Tidligfasefondet (The Early-Phase Fund) was established by the Norwegian Parliament in 2016 with an initial capital of NOK 300 million. It is a state-owned evergreen fund fully managed by Investinor AS. The fund's mission is to bridge the funding gap for promising Norwegian startups in the seed and early stages, thereby promoting innovation, value creation, and new jobs in Norway. It primarily co-invests with private investors in companies with international potential, focusing on sectors such as software, deep tech, and life sciences.
