Established in 2011, Unit Peneraju Agenda Bumiputera (TERAJU) is the central agency responsible for spearheading and managing the economic participation of the Bumiputera (the indigenous communities of Malaysia). TERAJU's mission is to increase the community's sustainable and competitive involvement in the national economy by creating opportunities, building capacity, and facilitating access to financing and new markets. It works closely with government bodies and the private sector to design and implement various high-impact initiatives and funds to foster the growth of Bumiputera companies.
